I own a 1971 VW Beetle whose front hood lock had been broken and removed 15 years ago. Having only to rely on the hook mechanism to secure it as I've merged onto the highway, it always was in my mind of it failing and causing problems. Rather than buy a whole new mechanism & installing it, I opted for the Rally Strap and am quite pleased. It's flat out doing its intended job and keeps me anxiety-free. It also looks good. Thanks for the great product.
