A must have for all air-cooled Vw's! This kit is designed to reinforce the current thin sheet metal. The bevel edges reduces shearing, while the heavy duty plate adds additional strength.

  • Kit includes
  • 2 metal plates w/ threaded centers
  • 2 bolts
  • 2 Washers

::IMPORTANT :: DO NOT USE OVERSIZED WASHERS OR ANY FLAT METAL TO MOUNT PLATE TO REINFORCE YOUR SEAL BELT MOUNTS!

In case of an accident the flat edges can act like metal shears and cut thru your sheetmetal.

Great. safe seat belt mounting

I just received two of these kits today. Man are they sturdy! I strongly recommend using these as a broad-based anchor for your seat belts. These will never pull through the floor in case of an accident.

I also highly recommend the folks at KaferLab for their excellent customer service and personal attention they give each customer.
